On August 2, a fire broke out onboard the newly-built factory trawler at a shipyard in St. Petersburg.
The fire started onboard the trawler Mekhanik Maslak, a freezer trawler under construction for the Russian Fishery Company.
Around sixty firefighters and one firefighting tug responded to the blaze, according to Russian media, managing to extinguish the fire.
No injuries were reported.
According to the Admiralty Shipyard, that the fire broke out in the forward hold, and no personnel or critical equipment were harmed.
