According to the British security intelligence firm Dryad Global, the feeder container ship “Pacora” was boarded by armed men during the evening of March 6th.
In fact, the container vessel left Guayaquil, bound for Balboa, and was boarded by armed men when the ship was passing buoy 66.
As Dryad Global explained, pirates stayed on board for approximately 40 minutes breaking into 9 specific containers, apparently knowing which containers to open.
At the same time, they seized a crew member who was in the bow area, taking his phone and radio before leaving the ship near buoy 52 after loading two boats with looted goods.
However, the vessel continued its voyage, while all crew reported to be safe. Concluding, the above video was captured by a crew member from the bridge.
