Earlier this week, the USCG aircrews, outside of LA and San Diego, took action in order to perform a rescue operation, as victims from the gigantic mudslides in the Santa Barbara County, were reported.
The mudslides are result of California’s largest ever recorded wildfire, which had impacted in a very negative way LA’s vegetation last month.
Consequently, torrential rains caused sudden, massive slides in Santa Barbara, Montecito, Summerland and Carpinteria, with hundreds waiting to be rescued, while 15 have lost their lives and many are missing.
