The video, released by dredging expert Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V., depicts the salvage operations of Cabrera’s ship wreck, a cargo vessel that ran aground off the Greek island of Andros in December 2016.
The ship hit the rocks early in the morning of 24 December 2016, while en route from Larimna Greece to Tornio Finland, split in pieces and subsequently sank in the Aegean sea.
At the wreck removal were involved Dutch company SMIT Salvage, as well as their Greek partner Megatugs.
The nine crew onboard was safely evacuated and no injuries were reported.
