Baker Hughes, GE company, the number of offshore rigs in the US declined by 26, in the timeframe of September 6 to 13, according to the company’s last count on September 13. Yet, in comparison to September 14 2018, the offshore rigs decreased by 196.
Specifically, Canada‘s rig count saw a decrease of 13 rigs, to 134.
- Canada Rig Count is down 13 rigs from last week to 134, with oil rigs down 9 to 93 and gas rigs down 4 to 41.
- In comparison to 2018, Canada Rig Count is decreased by 92 rigs from last year’s 226, with oil rigs down 55 and gas rigs down 37.
In the meantime, concerning US’s rig count, the number declined by 12, to 186 rigs.
- US Rig Count is down 12 rigs from last week to 886, with oil rigs down 5 to 733, gas rigs down 7 to 153, and miscellaneous rigs stable at 0.
- On the contrary to 2018’s rigs which were 1,055, this weeks rig count is down 169 rigs, with oil rigs down 134, gas rigs down 33, and miscellaneous rigs down 2 to 0.
- The US Offshore Rig Count is down 2 to 26 and up 6 rigs year-over-year.
