Many new tools in the upgraded 2011 version HydroComp's PropCad software for geometric modeling of marine propellers has now been released in an upgraded 2011 version.The program provides tools for the automatic preparation of 2D design drawings, 3D views, construction data, calculation of geometric properties, and CAD/CAM file export. The new release focuses on strengthening the 2D drawing of propellers, as well as product management and documentation.Among the new features are:The proprietary report and CAD viewer is extensively enhanced for PropCad 2011, which now includes new document, printing, and export capabilities.Classification society thickness reports have been updated for American Bureau of Shipping rules (2011) and Lloyd's Register rules (2010), including new support for high skew propellers.Project data now includes new fields to support implementation of HydroComp's new file format strategy. This common JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) format will provide greater cross-product data exchange control and flexibility among all HydroComp software.Source: Motorship
