Oil spill in Bay Jacques, Louisiana

The US Coast Guard and local agencies are responding to a crude oil spill in Bay Jacques, Louisiana, which happened on Tuesday April 3. A crude oil storage tank developed a leak and caused an estimated 4,200 gallons of Louisiana crude oil to discharge. Response personnel are assessing the impacted area and will perform manual recovery of the crude oil.
