The NGO Transport & Environment released a ranking in which it presents the best and worst performing countries in Europe’s attempt to reduce GHG emissions. Germany, Belgium and France are the top performers, while Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Portugal and Croatia are the worst.
The European Commission decided that the Croatian plans to grant Uljanik shipyard a State guarantee for a €96 million loan, adhere to the EU State aid rules. The measure will enable the company to meet urgent liquidity needs while preparing a restructuring plan.
