Commitment to quality
Secure a Ship (SaS) a Maritime Security Company have been celebrating the fact they have achieved the much sought after accreditations of Panama and ISO 9001 highlighting their commitment to quality.
Panama Accreditation was first introduced via Circular MMC-243 on the 4th April; its purpose was to officially communicate the Panama Maritime Authority requirements for the Private Maritime Security Companies (PMSC) to meet, in order to become authorized by this Administration. The Resolution will enter into force on October 3rd, 2012. This accreditation requires companies to meet certain standards and use accredited personnel; this ensures that every transit is safe and secure. These measures have the sole purpose of having a better control over these companies and at the same time to offer users the best possible quality services. With the assistance of ISM Shipping, the leading experts in the accreditation process this accreditation for SaS adds to their portfolio of satisfied clients.
ISO 9001 was first introduced in 1987 and requires organisations to demonstrate that they do what they say they do and that they have a quality management system in place to ensure consistency and improvement; leading to high levels of performance and customer satisfaction. Certified
organisations are committed to continuous improvement and are assessed annually to ensure progress is being maintained. This independent assessment for ISO 9001 was conducted by the leading Certification Body, the British Assessment Bureau and demonstrates Secure a Ship’s
commitment to customer service and quality in delivery.
Secure a Ship CEO said, “We are particularly pleased to have achieved Panama and ISO 9001 certification as it underlines our commitment to our customers and our focus on quality. Not many customers get to see their suppliers’ ‘back-office’ activities. This recognition demonstrates we can provide a quality solution from quotation to delivery. Ms Maria Dixon from ISM Shipping has been the guiding light in the Panama Accreditation process, her due-diligence and work effort has been exceptional”.
