TankMatch and Evos have formed a partnership to deliver methanol bunkering services across the Amsterdam–Rotterdam–Antwerp (ARA) region.
As explained, this collaboration aims to support the maritime industry’s transition to more sustainable fuels, with methanol emerging as a key alternative. By 2028, over 300 methanol-capable vessels are expected, driving the need for reliable supply chains and infrastructure.
As part of this initiative, Evos will expand its terminal capacity, adding five new tanks with a total storage capacity of 13,500 m³ each and a dedicated berth for quick, efficient bunkering services.
With Evos’ central Rotterdam location, our fleet can easily reach all corners of the ARA region in under 10 hours, enabling fast and flexible bunkering in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Antwerp.
… said said Marcel Jordens, Commercial manager, TankMatch.
The new berth will accommodate bunker barges up to 135 meters long, with pumping speeds of up to 750 m³ per hour. Customers will be able to store various methanol types, including bio-, e-, and grey methanol.
Johannes Veldt, Commercial manager, Evos Rotterdam, echoed the enthusiasm, saying that this partnership is all about delivering smart, sustainable solutions for the future.
