Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL) announced that it has pledged to contribute US$10,000 in cash to aid the victims of wildfires, which have raged in Australia since September 2019, and support reconstruction of the disaster-stricken areas.
What is more, the MOL Group has also begun to solicit donations from group members to fund relief efforts.
The MOL Group hopes that everyone who suffered during this disaster will be able to return to normal life as soon as possible

Australia has been involved in a months-long wildfire crisis (also dubbed as bushfire crisis), fueled by record temperatures and widespread drought.
The tragedy has killed at least 25 people and millions of animals since September, causing an unprecedented damage to the ecosystem.
Meanwhile, about 2,000 houses are estimated to have been destroyed.
