InterManager is pleased to announce that three members have been added in its scheme including the first Ship Registry, the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
ARC and SC Innovation are the other two new members who will help the Association to expand its global membership. Capt Kuba Szymanski, Secretary-General of InterManager welcomed all three members highlighting that collaboration aims to ensure that InterManager as a multi-sector Association is heading towards a sustainable industry for generations to come.
“We are delighted to be part of this quality ship manager’s trade association. As the Marshall Islands Registry grows in popularity as a ship registry, we want to forge a closer relationship with InterManager and its members. We look forward to working together on issues which affect our members and the maritime industry more widely,” said John Ramage, Chief Operating Officer, International Registries, Inc. which provides administrative and technical support to the Republic of the Marshall Islands maritime and corporate registries.
Max Williams, Fleet Operations Director, Africa Risk Compliance expects this cooperation to allow them to share expertise with ship managers and to build a sustainable network to ensure the industry is safe.
“At a time of global high security alert, maritime security intelligence is crucial. By working with organisations to keep clients well-briefed, we are building a robust network”, he said.
Finally, Capt Vitaly Smolets SC Innovative Ukraine’s QHSSE Manager also expressed his excitement to work at this new collaboration.
