Vingroup JSC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AD Ports Group to explore opportunities for developing and modernizing Vietnam’s logistics and maritime infrastructure.
As informed, the agreement outlines their shared goal to establish integrated logistics ecosystems, modernize port and shipyard operations, and bolster Vietnam’s position as a growing hub in both regional and global supply chains. Through this strategic collaboration, Vingroup and AD Ports Group aim to support Vietnam’s development as a key player in Southeast Asia’s trade and manufacturing landscape.
The partnership aims to drive modernization in Vietnam’s logistics and manufacturing sectors, foster trade efficiency, and support job creation. Both companies plan to work together to secure funding for projects that could bring transformative logistics capabilities to Vietnam.
Le Thi Thu Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of Vingroup, emphasized that the partnership represents a commitment to Vietnam’s national development and its role in global logistics. Meanwhile, Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, CEO of AD Ports Group, highlighted Vietnam’s rapid economic growth and strategic position in Asia, expressing enthusiasm for contributing to Vietnam’s integration into the global trade ecosystem.
