RISK4SEA is announcing the launch of its new initiative, “PSC Resilient 50”, a ranking that highlights the Leading 50 Managers who have achieved outstanding Port State Control (PSC) performance having the most PSCIs with zero detentions.
This initiative, built on rigorous research and documentary evidence, is designed to provide industry stakeholders with a transparent and objective benchmark of resilience in PSC inspections.
Following the success of the Top PSC Performers report, RISK4SEA continues to refine its approach to benchmarking by introducing a ranking methodology that assesses managers based on Port State Control Inspections (PSCIs) without any detentions.
“We are excited to introduce this initiative, making tangible PSC Performance and Intelligence available across the shipping industry, illuminating PSC performance, in line with our objectives to foster sustainable shipping” said Apo Belokas, Founder & CEO of RISK4SEA.
Our goal is to update and circulate these rankings quarterly, embracing PSC Excellence and ensuring industry stakeholders have access to the most relevant and up-to-date insights covering the last 36 months.
He further emphasized the importance of resilience in today’s maritime landscape: “Resilience is a crucial attribute for organizations facing an increasingly complex regulatory environment. In the PSC domain, maintaining zero detentions requires thorough preparation, awareness, and proactive risk management. Ship owners, managers, and operators must remain vigilant and continuously strive for excellence.”
