On February 8, COSCO Shipping Corporation Limited and COSCO Shipping Development announced the launch of an innovative electric vessel alliance, marking an important milestone in the history of green shipping in China.
Top national officials and more than 80 companies have joined the China Electric Ship Innovation Alliance, helping to cement the country’s position as a world leader in shipping electrification.
The launch was announced during a conference in which the signing ceremony of a strategic cooperation agreement of Green water Zero Carbon Project also took place. COSCO Shipping Development, China Merchants Capital, China Energy Engineering and China Cheng Tong signed the cooperation agreement.
