Baku Shipyard (BSY Engineering) in Azerbaijan has entered into an agreement with SSI to implement its ShipConstructor design and modeling solution.
With support from SSI’s local partner, NDAR, Baku Shipyard aims to enhance efficiency and precision in shipbuilding projects by embracing digital workflow technology. The adoption of ShipConstructor is expected to optimize design and production processes, reducing costs and streamlining operations.
Samir Muradov, Engineering Manager at Baku Shipyard, stated that transitioning to an in-house technical office, after a decade using a different system, is a challenging yet crucial step.
