Alexandra Sofia Kalouli, founder of IMEQ CENTER, embarked on her professional journey at the age of 24 by establishing a wellness center dedicated to transforming mental health into quantifiable key performance indicators and promoting safer environments onboard. She pursued her education in Psychology and Business at the Hellenic American University in Greece and furthered her studies at the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. With a deep expertise in Business Development, Alexandra has pioneered the development of the world’s first software that employs artificial intelligence to identify symptoms through standardized tests with a remarkable 98% accuracy. In addition to this groundbreaking software, Alexandra has also developed a pioneering psychosocial risk assessment tool. This tool is the first of its kind in the maritime industry, designed to identify risks onboard that are linked as contributing factors to incidents caused by human error. Beyond her educational background, Alexandra has been actively involved in various initiatives aimed at improving mental health and safety standards in the maritime industry. Her work has been recognized for its innovation and impact, contributing to a significant shift in how mental health is perceived and managed in professional settings. As a leader, Alexandra frequently shares her insights at international conferences and through various publications, advocating for the integration of mental health metrics into business performance evaluations.
