Fire broke out in a cargo hold of the bulk carrier “Golden Eclipse”, which was docked at Civitavecchia, Italy, on March 28. The vessel was offloading coal, and about 2500 tons of coal were found in the hold in which the fire erupted.
Firefighters arrived on the scene of the incident, trying to put out the fire, while also making sure that there are no smoldering spots left inside the ship.
