ZeroNorth has facilitated Golden Island Diesel Oil Trading to transition to a fully digital system for Electronic Bunker Delivery Notes (eBDN), making it the first marine fuel supplier in Singapore to do so.
Golden Island has adopted ZeroNorth Bunker’s eBDN solution to implement 100% digital processes, aiming to enhance transparency and collaboration. Utilizing ZeroNorth’s technology platform, Golden Island plans to cease issuing physical BDNs starting from December 1st, as part of its broader digitalization initiative to move away from manual, paper-based processes and reduce environmental impact.
We are proud to be the first company to fully switch to eBDN in the Singapore bunkering market. To achieve this, we required a solution that would facilitate a seamless workflow to enhance the productivity and efficiency of our marine fuel delivery operations

This shift towards digitalization will enable Golden Island to streamline bunkering documentation, fostering transparency and enhancing efficiency and productivity in marine fuel delivery operations. By adopting ZeroNorth’s solution and eliminating paper forms, Golden Island anticipates saving at least two hours of manual data entry work each day.
ZeroNorth is proud to help our customers and the wider industry digitalise bunker operations. The data generated will in turn help enable the data flywheel effect, driving actionable recommendations on where further efficiencies can be created for the benefit of both profit and planet.

In addition to streamlining processes, ZeroNorth’s digitalization of the bunkering process will convert millions of data points into actionable recommendations for Golden Island. This aims to aid in identifying areas for efficiency improvement and greener operations.
