Norsepower has officially opened the world’s first dedicated rotor sail factory in Dafeng, China, marking a milestone in the advancement of wind propulsion technologies.
The facility will initially produce 50 rotor sails annually, with plans to increase to 100 units by 2027. This expansion supports the growing demand for sustainable maritime technologies and positions Norsepower as a leader in wind-assisted propulsion. The factory combines Finnish and Chinese expertise and aims to meet the rising €60 billion wind propulsion market.
