A construction worker drowned after falling from an offshore platform that is just over the coast of the Texas Gulf on 1 October.
According to information, USCG received a call that an individual had fallen off a Kiewit Offshore Services platform and into the La Quinta Channel.
Upon being informed, the police from Ingleside and Corpus Christi, the Coast Guard, a specialist dive team based in Aransas Pass, and those of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department began looking for the missing individual.
Divers found the body close to 5:30 pm, according to USCG.
The worker was a scaffolding subcontractor, a spokesperson associated with Kiewit Offshore Services mentioned to local media.
