Teekay, in partnership with The TK Foundation, announced that they have launched a scholarship program to support young Filipinos pursue a career in the maritime industry.
The Future Leaders Program (FLP) is a four year post-secondary education program where students are accredited with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering and Marine Transportation, and receive training to acquire the necessary education and skills to become successful marine officers.
From enrollment to employment, students are guaranteed a one-year cadetship onboard one of Teekay vessels to acquire hands on experience operating ships.
