The vessel ran aground and the fishermen made their way to shore, where they were rescued by Baywatch Isthmus personnel.
US Coast Guard Sector Los Angeles-Long Beach pollution responders and partner agencies are working with the vessel’s owner to coordinate recovery efforts and to ensure proper actions are taken to mitigate any environmental threat.
The vessel reportedly has 200 gallons of diesel fuel onboard.
