Port Authority of Valencia (APV) announced its plans to further fund Port of Sagunto Infrastructure Project, for the following years of 2020-2025.
Namely, until 2019, the investments of the Port Authority of Valencia (APV) in the port of Sagunto have allowed gaining in service and competitivity with the implementation of projects such as the expansion of the docks.
For the industrial fabric of the Comunitat Valenciana it is essential that the Port of Sagunto continues to grow and expand services to generate employment and economic activity, but at the same time we will continue to improve integration with the city as a driving force for the area.

Furthermore, the actions planned for the next few years include railway access, the internal network of tracks, planning and improvements to the northern area, an electricity substation, and improvements to the Sagunto-Teruel-Zaragoza network.
In addition, Valenciaport announced the start of studies for the third dock of the Port of Sagunto.
The aim is to include this third dock in Valenciaport’s Strategic Plan for the coming years. An initiative in which the entire port and social community will participate to analyze which model is of interest according to the strategic requirements and needs of the Port of Sagunto.
Concluding, Port of Sagunto has been placed in the 15th position in the Spanish port ranking for the total of tons managed and in the 7th position for vehicle movement.
