According to UKMTO, on 9th July, a new attack on a commercial ship has been reported in the Red Sea.
In particular, UKMTO has received a report of an incident 180NM east of Nishtun, Yemen.
As explained, the Master of a merchant vessel reports an explosion in close proximity to the vessel, vessel and all crew are safe. The vessel is proceeding to its next port of call.
Vessels are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO.

Furthermore, on 10th July, UKMTO received a report of an incident 40NM south of Al Mukha, Yemen. The Master of the vessel reports an explosion in close proximity to the vessel.
As informed, vessel and all crew are safe.

These attacks follow a period of reduced activity in early July. This resurgence coincides with increased efforts by the U.S. and EU NAVFOR Operation Aspides, which have successfully thwarted recent Houthi threats over the past few days.
