UKMTO (United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations) has released a statement to inform of increased unmanned aircraft activity in the Arabian Gulf and Western Indian Ocean.
As informed, UKMTO is aware of the Israeli military strike against Iran. As a result, vessels transiting the Arabian Gulf and Western Indian Ocean may notice increased aircraft activity in the region. However, there are currently no indications that commercial maritime vessels are the intended target.
