Banning of PAS to affect business climate and port energy transition

Ronald Paul, COO of the Port of Rotterdam Authority commented on the ban of using the Nitrogen Approach Program, when granting permits, that it will affect potential customers and will have negative impacts on the agriculture, business climate in Port of Rotterdam and also on the development of the energy transition.

Port of Rotterdam welcomes EU regulation for data harmonization

On Monday 5 November, the European Parliament’s Committee on Transport will discuss the European Maritime Single Window environment (EMSWe) Regulation, to reduce the amount of time that ships spend on reporting procedures. The Port of Rotterdam welcomes this development, as it thinks that data harmonization is of great importance.
