No incident of piracy and armed robbery against ships in Asia was reported to ReCAAP ISC, between 16th – 22nd January 2024.

Fujian Guohang Ocean Shipping (Group) Co., and Wuhu Shipyard Co., Ltd. successfully signed a construction contract for four+six 89,000 DWT methanol dual-fuel bulk carriers.

CSSC Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), has delivered a 210,000 dwt LNG dual-fuel bulk carrier, HL Hope, to H-Line Shipping.

Two actual incidents of armed robbery against ships (both CAT 4) in Asia were reported to ReCAAP ISC, between 12th – 18th December 2023.
