This ship has achieved net zero greenhouse gas emissions by using biodiesel and methanol fuels; it is also equipped with a main engine EGR system to ensure that nitrogen oxide emissions meet Tier III standards. The ship light weight has been greatly reduced by means of line optimization, lightweight design, integrated design of propellers and energy-saving devices, etc.
In addition, the ship is equipped with a high-power shaft generator, preset shore power system, photovoltaic power generation system, and energy storage battery.
