SAFETY4SEA announced the winners of the 2022 SMART4SEA Virtual Awards on February 24th, recognizing industry’s outstanding practices for E-Navigation, Connectivity, Energy Efficiency, Cyber Security, Training, Technology, Personality and Leadership

SAFETY4SEA is pleased to announce the distinguished shortlisted nominees for the 2022 GREEN4SEA Awards, following an online nomination process, initiated a few months ahead, where industry stakeholders proposed nominations.

Paul Sadler, former representative of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS), and prior to that representative of the Government of the United Kingdom to IMO, has received the International Maritime Prize for 2020.

SAFETY4SEA announced the winners of the 2021 SAFETY4SEA Virtual Awards on Tuesday, October 19th, recognizing the industry’s outstanding practices for Safety Excellence, Sustainability, Training, Technology, Initiative, COVID-19 Resilience, Personality and Leadership.

The International Maritime Prize for 2020 will be awarded to Mr. Paul Sadler, former representative of the government of the UK to IMO and of IACS, IMO announced. 

SAFETY4SEA announced the winners of the 2021 GREEN4SEA Virtual Awards on April 21st, recognizing industry’s outstanding practices for Sustainability, Clean Shipping, Initiative, Technology, Tanker Operator, Dry Bulk Operator and Personality.

The ceremony of IMO awards 2019 took place virtually for the first time, recognizing the contributions of a long-standing maritime industry chief and presenting its highest bravery accolade to two maritime pilots from Brazil and an off-duty seafarer from the Philippines.
