The group of companies Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg continues to develop port infrastructure
Thegroup ofcompanies “SeaPortofSaint-Petersburg”continues tomodernize cargo terminals andportinfrastructure within theimplementationoffull-scaleprogramme ofdevelopment.
Inparticular, starting fromthebeginning ofthisyearthe group ofcompanies carries outworks onreconstruction ofrailway tracks andfacilities attheFirst andSecond Cargo areaoftheport. These works willsecure uninterrupted flowoftrains andmodernization ofthecranes. Itis planned thatthese works willmakeitpossible toincrease metal handling capacities oftheterminals upto500thousand tonspermonth.
Additional storage capacities forimport carsandcontainers arebeing constructed attheterritory of”Fourth Stevedoring Company” (part ofthegroup ofthecompanies “Sea PortofSPb”).
Starting fromthebeginning of2011thegroup ofcompanies “SeaPortofSaint-Petersburg”transferred about 470mln. rubles, allinallit isplanned totransfer over1.1 bln. rubles forthese purposes.
