Skangas’ vessel Coralius, first LNG bunkering vessel built in Europe, has completed its maiden voyage in Norway, delivering LNG to the Skangas-operated terminal in Ora, Fredrikstad, on Thursday.
The vessel was loaded with LNG from the company’s production facility in Risavika, Stavanger.
“We are very content with further developing the marine LNG availability in Northern Europe by our new ship Coralius,” said Kimmo Rahkamo, Chief Executive of Skangas.
Skangas took delivery of the ship earlier this month. The vessel’s main operation area is from the Kiel Canal to mid Norway, including part of the North Sea and she can deliver Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) both in ports and at sea.
