Trelleborg’s marine and infrastructure operation supplied its SCK Cell Fenders under a project undertaken by the Singapore Cruise Centre to upgrade its infrastructure to accommodate the latest generation of cruise vessels at its international cruise terminal.
HarbourFront’s two terminals, the International Passenger Terminal (IPT) and the Regional Ferry Terminal (RFT) welcome over 5 million cruise and ferry passengers each year. With the current trend of cruise lines increasing the size of their ships, Singapore Cruise Centre wants to upgrade its infrastructure to keep up with the industry development.

For this reason, Trelleborg supplied and replaced the Centre’s existing fender systems with its SCK Cell Fenders.
Loh Lik Peng, Chairman at Singapore Cruise Centre, said:
We have a long-standing relationship with Trelleborg, which is able to provide high quality and advanced fender solutions to meet the demands of the vessels that we not only accommodate now, but those we will do so in the future
SCK Cell Fenders come in a wide range of standard sizes and are interchangeable with many, older marine cell fender types.
