BIMCO informs that all passengers including crew members have to take specific COVID-19 tests prior to boarding a flight from Singapore to China.
Specifically, it is stated that requirement to take nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests and applying for a green health code with the “HS” mark or a green health declaration code with the “HDC” mark will be imposed on all passengers including crew members prior to boarding a flight from Singapore to China.
Similarly, starting November 8 2020, , all Chinese and foreign passengers (including the Fast Lane passengers) who are to fly from Singapore to China will be required to take nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests and then apply for a green health code with the “HS” mark or a green health declaration code with the “HDC” mark before boarding the flight.
Note that the tests must be taken within 2 days before boarding. For example if you are taking a flight on 13 November, the tests must be done no earlier than today,

Moreover, MPA Singapore recently issued a new marine notice concerning updates for crews’ sign off, including:
- MPA will facilitate COVID-19 pre-departure testing for sign-off crew in Singapore in accordance with the prevailing national policy. Ship owners/managers/agents will bear the cost of the COVID-19 tests of their crew, where applicable.
- Crew subjected to serology test shall remain onboard until production of a negative COVID-19 test result.
