Costa Cruises and the Western Ligurian Sea Port Authority have now reopened the Calata delle Vele cruise ship quay and Palocrociere Terminal One in the Port of Savona, Italy, after an extensive renovation process.
Specifically, the Western Ligurian Sea Port Authority invested €17 million to conduct modifications to the quay, aiming to give it the ability to accommodate larger, modern cruise ships. To this target, the seabed has been deepened, a process that required the reinforcement of quays nine and ten and the installation of scaffolding on the front of quay eight.
