Over 300 passengers were stranded on the ferry Stena Edda on Wednesday night, after six crew members tested positive for Covid-19.
Port Health Authorities advised the Belfast-bound ferry not to leave Birkenhead, UK, after the six crew members were found positive.
All 322 passengers were disembarked on Thursday morning and the 53 crew members were tested for Covid-19. Stena Line said passengers would travel to Belfast on another ferry.

The six crew who tested positive are showing mild symptoms, according to Stena, while another 15 individuals who were in close contact with the positive cases are now in self-quarantine.
Through its social media accounts, the company informed that the ferry resumed service on Thursday night, heading to Belfast.
