Paul Reed, former chief executive of BP’s Integrated Supply and Trading division, will join Maersk Tankers’ Board of Directors as Vice Chairman, the company informed in an official statement.
“I am excited to work with such a dynamic team in one of the industry’s leading companies as they embrace the opportunities of new technologies and face the challenges of an evolving market,” he said on the occasion.
Mr. Reed has worked for 37 years with BP and, since 2010, he has led the company’s Integrated Supply and Trading division. He has also held various leadership positions across BP’s global business, especially in commercial and trading functions. He also has board positions at ICE Futures Europe and Marquard and Bahls.
