Pacific Fleet divers (Pacific Fleet), the Navy Research Institute and a separate expedition detachment of divers aboard the Igor Belousov Pacific Fleet rescue ship dived in the Sea of Japan for the first time in the history of the Russian Navy and reached the depth of 416 meters.
The dive was carried out by the method of a long stay in the pressure chamber using a GVK-450 modern deep-water diving complex , located on board the vessel.
Under the control of specialists, the divers underwent compression in the pressure chambers for three days. After this procedure, with the help of a diving complex they went into the depth, where they examined the underwater water area. They also conducted a training session on connecting the air supply hoses.
Divers feel well and undergo a process of decompression and they are expected to leave the diving chamber on November 18.
