The newly-delivered Navig8 Exceed aims to significantly enhance operational efficiency, curtail fuel consumption, and markedly diminish emissions.
According to the company, recently acquired by Navig8 this April, the Navig8 Exceed stands as the second in a series of six state-of-the-art MR vessels slated for delivery by 2025, crafted by the esteemed New Times Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. Each of these innovative vessels is outfitted with an advanced air lubrication system (ALS) provided by Marine Technology Solutions.
Additionally, they are equipped with an exhaust gas cleaning system (EGCS), commonly referred to as a scrubber, designed to effectively remove sulphur emissions.
Moreover, Navig8 is harnessing the power of the Shipwatch platform to meticulously monitor and manage the performance of its fleet, actively advancing the reduction of CO2 emissions by optimizing operational efficiency.
To bolster this initiative, all vessels will feature a CII monitoring system seamlessly integrated with the Shipwatch platform.
