The Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) will be adding new port calls to its US and South America East Coast (USA-SAEC) service.
Specifically, the shipping company announced that the extension of its services will begin in April, with the MSC CAROLINA voyage 13R.
The new service rotation will also include new calls, such as Cristobal, Panama; Paranagua in southern Brazil; and Philadelphia on the US East Coast.
Therefore, the company reported that the new port rotation will be as follow: Buenos Aires – Montevideo – Rio Grande – Navegantes – Paranagua – Santos – Rio De Janeiro – Salvador – Suape – Cristobal – Philadelphia – New York – Norfolk – Baltimore- Charleston – Savannah – Caucedo – Santos.
In addition, in February, MSC announced that in collaboration with Maersk, who together form the 2M Alliance, are partnering with SM Line, beginning on April 1, 2020, continuing their six weekly services between Asia and the West Coasts of the US and Canada.
