All 10 crew members were reportedly safe
All 10 crew members – 8 Ukrainians and 2 Russians – were reportedly safe and uninjured, and a Coast Guard vessel dispatched the scene was on stand-by to provide assistance if needed.
The Harbor Authority told AMNA that the ship’s owner company had hired a private diver to inspect the damage to the ship before a plan for its dislodgement was started.
No marine pollution was reported. The cargo ship was sailing without cargo from Halkida to Romania.
