Liberian registry announced that it has established its Offshore and Gas Technology Department. This department aims to strengthen Liberia’s presence in the offshore and gas sectors.
Liberia has established its in-house technical and commercial capabilities on the Offshore side with the creation of its Offshore and Gas Technology Department at its US headquarters.
This Offshore Department and Gas Technology is headed by Capt. Stephen Bomgardner. It includes Technical, Safety, and Registrations personnel and capabilities.
According to the Liberian Registry, Liberian-flag fleet growth has increased 9.8%.
As Alfonso Castillero, CCO of the Liberian International Ship & Corporate Registry (LISCR) said, the Registry established the new department to meet the new offshore requirements.
