ShipMoney announced that it extended its Maritime Payment Services Agreement with Helikon Shipping into a long-term multi-year relationship. The last years Helicon has been using the digital currency to pay wages to crewmembers onboard.
Mainly, the two partners decided to expand their collaboration given the successful results of the Program, and the future expansion of the Helicon fleet.

He continued that for the Company, the Program has reduced the costs and provided an advantage to their crewmembers and their families.
ShipMoney offers seafarers the whole control and access to their wages while they are onboard the vessel, including timing and currency of remittances sent home.
