Telerik announced that its customer in oil and gas industry, Bhagwan Marine, together with partner, Glenfield Digital Group, has released the first mobile app for offshore energy vessel management.
The app, LiveFleet, enables customers to track its vast fleet of marine vessels, offering real-time data access and geolocation capabilities. The app is currently available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
“Off-shore energy production is a complex and competitive industry. Companies want real-time information about staff, vessels and resources, in a quick and concise manner,” said Richard Sojka, Managing Director, Glenfield Digital Group.
“The service Bhagwan Marine provides to its many customers is unique. It was the first to leverage mobile with its LiveFleet app, which puts it ahead of its competition.”
“Thanks to Glenfield Digital and Telerik, we can now have our complete fleet information at our fingertips, updated with real time tracking data directly to any mobile device,” said Bhagwan Marine Marketing Manager Matt Syms.
“On-the-fly, we can produce print-ready technical vessel specification sheets. This was not possible before we implemented Telerik, and in the end, we’ve saved thousands by doing away with printed materials and brochures.”
