Fire broke out onboard the general cargo ship URA, as it was berhed at La Coruna, Spain, in the afternoon of June 29.
According to information, URA was berthed at La Coruna, when fire erupted in superstructure.
After the fire was reported, firefighting attemts took place, with the assistance of tugs and SAR boat being at URA’s side.
What is more, city engines were also engaged, while sources report that fire was caused due to wielding works.
Because of the fire, one person was, reportedly, medically assisted because of smoke inhaling.
The ship had arrived from Bayonne France on June 27, carrying a cargo of steel billets.
