Cruise and Maritime Voyages, a cruise ship operator in the UK market, announced it was put into receivership on 20 July, following months of financial struggling amid a global suspension of cruise operations.
We are sorry to inform you that South Quay Travel Limited (SQTL) – which traded under the name Cruise & Maritime Voyages – was placed into administration on 20 July 2020,

The news follows recent reports of the financial difficulties faced by the line.
In mid-June, the UK MCA detained five of the company’s six cruise ships in UK ports, due to expired and invalid Seafarers Employment Agreements, late payment of wages, as well as extended serving of seafarers who had been on board for over 12 months in breach of MLC.
CMV becomes the third cruise operator to go out of business amid the pandemic, following Spanish Pullmantur Cruises and Swedish-based cruise operator Birka Cruises in July.
