French shipping company CMA CMG released a statement in which it announced the launch of a new product called Serenity. With the new addition, the company wants to address the fear that many operators have regarding unpredictable events during freight transport.
Namely, Serenity aims to protect businesses’ goods when they are shipped. The product will be available worldwide.
Furthermore, “Cargo Value SERENITY” will permit a quick compensation for businesses whose goods have been damaged or lost during transport for any reason, including natural disasters.
This product is part of CMA CGM’s new services plan which also includes a product to cover costs in the event of damage to a container during handling and a product to compensate shippers in cases of payment default by their own customers.
Elie Zeenny, Vice President in charge of Development Projects, stated: “By launching SERENITY, CMA CGM completes its offering to customers for a more effective transport that meets their needs and expectations. SERENITY is also in line with our “Customer Centricity” strategy, one of the Group’s priorities. SERENITY embodies the commitment of the CMA CGM Group to always innovate for its clients.”
