CCS, Wartsila agreement on Techical Cooperation

Cooperation in ship design, ship power, ship automation, environmental protection, energy saving

CCS, Wartsila agreement on Techical Cooperation China Classification Society (CCS) and Wärtsilä Services (Shanghai) Co., Limited have recently signed a framework agreement for technical cooperation in Shanghai.

Both sides will carry out a comprehensive cooperation in such areas as ship design, ship power (including propulsion system), ship automation, environmental protection and energy saving technologies.

The cooperation projects will mainly cover approval of new products, ship type design and development, development of rules and standards, cooperation on research projects, exchange of technical information, and cooperation on market.
