Several vehicles aboard a P&O Ferry were toppled over after the vessel travelled in extreme weather conditions during a voyage from Northern Ireland to Scotland.
Namely, emergency services were sent to meet the vessel as it arrived in Cairnryan, Scotland on December 18.
According to police reports, about 6 lorries toppled over due to extreme weather. Moreover, the passengers and crewmembers remained safe as there were no injuries.
The P&O Ferry was voyaging from Larne in Northern Ireland at the time of the incident.
The weather forced P&O Ferries to suspend all ferry service between Cairnryan and Larne until the weather subsided.
Finally, P&O ferries announced that their sailings were not operating from Larne and Cairnryan ports for the time being.
