As part of their Good Catch series, American P&I has published an animation video which highlights, that documenting near misses, even in the case of minor incidents like those experienced by a speedy guy like Harry, helps maintain a healthy safety culture.
Good Catch series takes into account that although every company’s safety management system is different, there is a common theme that all seafarers’ situational awareness and personal responsibility is tantamount to their own safety, that of their shipmates, the marine environment, cargo and the ship alike.
